Elaboration of Molino Loco Macabeo 2016
Molino Loco Macabeo 2016 (Viura)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: clean and bright, pale yellow.
- Nose: fresh and pleasant aromas of white fruit and apple.
- Mouth: soft and juicy, hints of minerality and a long, fruity finish.
APPELLATION: Yecla.
VINEYARD: vineyards situated at an altitude of 750 meters above sea level, trellises with vines planted in irrigated. Infertile soils limetona here means that the roots of the vines must grow deep into the earth in search of minerals and nutrients. This root depth helps ensure healthy, ripe and tasty vines more than 20 years grapes.
GRAPES: Macabeo.
PREPARATION: grapes crushed and de-stemmed before pressing. Fermentation carried out in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 15 °C for 15-16 days
PAIRING: White and blue fish, soft cheeses.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12.5%
