Hecula 2012 is a greedy and generous wine from old vines aged 60 to 80 years.
Robert Parker: "Its opaque purple color is followed by copious aromas of blueberries, black raspberries, camphor, licorice, white flowers and a chalky limestone/dusty character. Full-bodied, rich and well-balanced, it is an incredible value".

Reviews of Hécula 2012
Bodegas Castano Hecula Monastrell do Yecla 2014
Deep colour at first sight. Scents of raspberry. Do not know what had to taste like, but it was tasty.
Red ruby colour with reddish brown tinges. The raspberry aromas are quite present. It is the softest wine of Yecla.
