Parellada is a type of Spanish white grape grown in the highlands of Catalonia. It is also called Martorella, Masi, Montonega, Montonero and Montonet. The grape is a very good producer of quality grapes, but very thin-skinned and hard to grow. The clusters are medium or large, very tight and yellow-green. Wines made from this grape have little strength, they are pale, with delicate aromas and little body.
