Italian Wines without appelation is a name usually given to so-called "current consumption" wines. They also call "table wine." There is no precise definition for "table wines."
Italian Wines without appelation are known to have high efficiency, synonymous with acidity (less sugar) and a little sharp flavor, table wines may be described as "big red" and so-called "generic" whites.
Since 2009, European wines have been classified into four groups:

Wines with Protected Geographical Indication
