Tormore 16 Ans

Scotch Whiskey Tormore 16 years of age.
Here is the new Scotch Tormore, a 16 year old with rich flavors and complex aged in American oak barrels (American oak) and non-chill filtered to more freely express his character.
The official bottlings Tormore are rare and yet, to look more closely, we all if not already tasted at least seen. . . Indeed, while the distillery belongs to the group Pernod (Chivas Brothers) Tormore in the composition of such Blends or Long John Ballantine's. And when tasted for the first time this version, one wonders why it was not bottled as soon as a single malt?
So do not spoil our fun and enjoy full access to this Tormore 16 years reminiscent in many respects, by its exuberance delicate, beautiful buildings of this distillery designed in the late 50s by Sir Albert Richardson of the Royal Academy, and where the lack of cold filtration giving Tormore 16 years a fatter body rebalances finely by its alcohol content higher a beautiful set pretty sweet and delicious. In short an ideal maturation for a heady malt, unctuous, with fruity, fresh and floral, signed the Master Distiller Neal Corbett. Origin Speyside unpeated.

A whiskey to the old gold color to orange copper highlights. The nose is heady, farm. It goes immediately to the essential, that is to say, malted barley, heather honey, candied fruit (peach, apricot), exotic (kiwi, cumbava). The set is a remarkable fullness. Vanilla ice cream and coconut come in as and cover with a white film olfactory palette. The mouth is both delicate and exuberant. Exotic fruits (mango, passion) suddenly invade the palace. Once past this introduction that the nose does not necessarily announced she displayed a stunning salt balance. Lactic, it extends on milk chocolate notes, fresh nuts and vanilla. At As, a beautiful bitter fruit (peach skin) coats the palate. The finish is long, tense. Its spicy register was set up. Black pepper, fresh ginger and cloves are there to testify. She barely softens and then offers to enjoy some fresh fruit (pineapple, ripe apple). The palate is greedy (calisson Aix) and the empty glass is earthy and country (dandelion, daisy).
