What makes Tomatin whisky so unique and special? The fact that it has passed through three different types of wooden casks - ex-bourbon, Sherry Butts and Refill Hogshead, - but also the fact that it has been aged for 12 years. We must also add the great art of the master distillers to fully understand the greatness of this distillate.
The refinement of this product comes from its long history and the passion of those who have always taken care of every detail. The distillery is located in Scotland, in the Highlands, mythological lands where nature expresses itself pure and wild. This is what is perceived inside the bottle and is confirmed by the taste, which reveals its softness thanks to the presence of notes of walnuts and sherry. Its aroma is rich, refined and complex and lets you perceive the finest quality malt, as well as a slight hint of peat aroma. Sweet fruity notes complete the profile, giving it a balanced sweetness.
Perfect to enjoy straight up or on the rocks during a cheerful evening in good company or on your own, when you are looking for something special to make an ordinary day unique.

The Producer
Tomatin Distillery

The origins of whisky production in Tomatin are hard to be precise about - the formal distillery which operates today was established in 1897 but there is reason to believe that whisky production, albeit illegal, has been an important part of life in the area around Tomatin since the 1700s.
