In 1863, he developed the Highland Cream, a blend of more than thirty different single malts with a very high malt content to give a richer and fuller flavour. William Teacher died in 1876 and left the mark on his two sons, Adam and William Jr., who moved from Glasgow to St Enoch where the company remained until 1991.
Teacher's 1L has a beautiful deep amber colour and gold reflections, unique aromas, a smoky peaty taste, followed by the sweetest flavours of fruits such as apple, hazelnut, coated with honey and caramel. All this in an intense and balanced package.

PRODUCTION DETAILS: Teacher's 1L is certainly one of the most popular whiskey in the world. It is a mixture characterized by the major presence of malt and peat. How could it be otherwise, for a whiskey in which the best malt and water flowing in the Scottish moors mix? Raw materials of high quality, therefore the mixture is anticipated in appropriate portions. This was the idea that Master William was in 1830, when he began to produce his whiskey. But it was two years later, in 1832 began selling in your grocery store in Glasgow, who ran with his wife. But it was in 1863 that killed Highland Cream, a mixture of up to 30 different malt from the body consistent, complete and rich. Even today, production is still the classic, which provides for a curing time of at least 5 years in oak barrels. Presentation 1 liter bottle is ideal especially in the business of producing cocktails and mixed drinks. Some examples? In a classic Manhattan, or a refreshing sour whiskey or even a hot, steaming Irish coffee. The teacher, however, is also excellent pure or with some ice 'drunk.
