Peaky Blinder Bourbon Whiskey is an Irish whiskey matured in sherry barrels that convey the distillate notes of apricot and dried fruit.
The name of this whiskey comes from a street gang in Birmingham active between the 19th and 20th centuries. The name seems to derive from the type of hat (peaky) worn by the group members, whose reverse side contained a small razor to blind their enemies. One of the gang members, Arthur Shelby, is drawn on the label.
This Irish whiskey is sweet and warm, with notes of melted chocolate in the mouth, giving way to spicy cinnamon in the finish.
