Nikka Miyagikyo

A no age statement single malt whisky from the Miyagikyo distillery. Characteristic of their expressions, this Miyagikyo single malt features plenty of interplay between spice and sweet fruit notes.

Miyagikyo Single Malt shows the characteristics of Nikkas second distillery built in 1969. The founder Masataka Taketsuru chose this site in the mountains of Sendai to contrast with his first distillery, Yoichi, which is located in the coastal area.

Nikka's whisky from Miyagikyo distillery. Light in body, yet full of flavour, this is an excellent introduction to Japanese whisky. Elegantly fruity with sherry-cask character.

Nikka Miyagikyo Single Malt

The Miyagikyo is a single malt whiskey from the historical Nikka Distillery, located in Sendai, Japan, which is aged in oak barrels that previously contained sherry. The Miyagikyo Nikka wears a bright amber color. Its aroma is with aromas of dried fruits and spices, enriched by pleasant floral notes on the finish. Large and complex on the palate, it reveals pleasantly sweet and fruity. Ideal to be enjoyed neat or in combination with fine chocolates, cheeses and pastries. Also great for relaxing and enjoying a nice end of the evening.
