Discover More About Our Products

J&B is a blended Scotch whisky that has been made by Justerini & Brooks since the early 1930s. This is also where the initials in the whisky's name come from. This masterful mix of 42 different single malt and grain whiskies is one of the world's most famous blended Scotch whiskies.

With a base of delicious, fruity Speyside single malts, the remaining whiskies serve to round out the flavour to result in an unconventional and unique mix. It has such a defined palate that if even one of the 42 whiskies were left out, the taste would be severely altered. Smooth enough to enjoy on its one and versatile enough to take part in any cocktail, this subtle spirit is a must-have for any bar.

The stylish green bottle with its yellow label and red cap is unmistakable. This pale gold liquid has been loved by many famous personalities over the years including Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis Jr. Now one of the most popular spirits of its type in the world, this is a product that you can trust. As it is made by a firm is that famous for supplying fine wines and spirits to collectors and aristocrats, you can be sure that they know their way around a whisky.

Description of J&B

J&B

TASTING NOTES:

  • Colour: A light, translucent amber yellow
  • Aroma: An enticing aroma of malt, cereals, and golden grains
  • Taste: A pleasantly smooth texture with a relatively light taste. Fresh orchard fruit notes melt into earthy grain flavours. J&B can be enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but it also makes an excellent whiskey sour.

PRODUCER: Justerini & Brooks. The "J" in J&B comes from Giacamo Justerini was a master distiller in his native Italy who moved to England to follow an unrequited love. The company was eventually purchased by Alfred Brooks, who subsequently renamed it. After creating one of the first blended Scotch whiskeys, J&B finds international success; the director of the company was at one point arrested for selling briefcases full of the signature whiskey in Prohibition-era America. Today, J&B is one of the most popular whiskey creators on the market with millions of cases sold worldwide each year.

COUNTRY: Scotland

PRODUCTION DETAILS: J&B is unique amongst blended whiskies. The drink combines 42 single malt and grain whiskies for a final product that is balanced, smooth, and distinctive. The base whiskey is from Speyside and gives the overall taste a fresh fruity taste. Other quality Scotch whiskies are blended in to create a harmonious flavour.

Opinión de elwhiskydelmes:
Color: Pajizo claro.

4 /5

- Forty-two different Scotch malt and Scotch grain whiskies are blended to create the subtle yet rich and complex flavour of J&B Rare.
- The smooth taste of many fine scotch malt whiskies, predominantly from the Speyside region of Scotland, is delicately freshened and revealed by carefully chosen scotch grain whiskies to give J&B Rare its highly distinctive and balanced character.
