Jack Daniel's has been a mainstay in the world of whiskey since it was first established back in 1866. This historic distillery has the honour of being the first-ever officially registered as such in the United States. From its founding until the release of the Master Distiller Series, the Jack Daniel's company had only had seven master distillers. That is why the company decided to honour those men, each with their own special release of the whiskey they had made and loved.
In the Jack Daniel's Master Distiller Series, No. 1 is dedicated to the man behind the brand, who gave it his name: Jasper Newton Daniel, more commonly known as Jack. It is his original recipe of corn, rye, and barley that is still used to make Jack Daniel's today. Jack was the master distiller from 1866 to 1911 and this limited-edition release is an excellent way to honour his memory.
Mellowed using charcoal to craft that smooth, familiar flavour that the world has come to know and love, Jack Daniel's Master Distiller Series No. 1 takes what you love about the original recipe and makes it richer, with a deeper flavour. This full-bodied expression of Jack Daniel's is sure to be a hit no matter how you use it.
