Discover More About Our Products
Glenfiddich, a name that is now synonymous with fine whisky, is Gaelic for the "Valley of the Deer." This is the name that William Grant gave to the distillery that he and his children built by hand in 1887. The product of William Grant's lifelong dream, this distillery and the whisky it produced would long outlast its creator, who made an outstanding foundation for this fine line of whiskies to be built upon.
One-of-a-kind copper stills, high-quality barley, on-site barrel coopers, and spring water drawn from Robbie Dhu are all essential ingredients to craft this award-winning brand. From the fine range offered, Glenfiddich 18-Years-Old is a great middle-aged whisky. This dark-gold spirit benefits from both the Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks used to age it, which give a multifaceted flavour and bouquet to this single malt Scotch.
It is neither the youngest nor the oldest of the collection, meaning that Glenfiddich 18-Year-Old has the robust nature and character that only long years spent in barrels can bring, resulting in a darker flavour than its younger siblings. Full-bodied and full of flavour, this is a luxurious whisky that is beautifully oaky and sure to please.

PRODUCTION DETAILS: This magnificent drink is made with 100% malted barley, cultivated by the best farmers in the region, and water collected from the Robbie Dhu springs. Following double distillation in copper stills, the whisky is aged in Jerez oloroso and American oak barrels previously used to age Bourbon. Once matured, whiskey is poured into oak vats with a capacity of up to 30 barrels to unify the taste. Finally, when the distillate has matured perfectly, the whisky is mixed with spring water to achieve the desired alcohol content.
