15 Year Old Glenfiddich is a true single malt Scotch whiskey which is aged in virgin casks of different types of oak and goes through the traditional Solera Vat process, which consists of allowing the whiskey to sit along with other mixtures, which have not been publicly revealed, in an Oregon oak cask.
The attributes this whiskey develops during the production process have managed to position it as the first 15-year-old to rank among the 10 best-selling and most popular single malts in the world.
The Glenfiddich distillery opts to use ex-barrels of sherry and bourbon to nourish the flavor of Glenfiddich 15 Year Old and give it the balance and complexity that define it.
