- Odor: mild, malty. Honey, lightly salted butter on toasted sultana. Touches of tiramisu.
- Taste: it has a strong smoky aroma, with notes of almond and marzipan. Good length, barley, toasted oats.

PRODUCTION DETAILS: this exceptionally rare whiskey has matured in oak for 23 years, making it one of the oldest Scotch whiskeys in the market. After aging in casks virgin oak, whiskey was transferred to Japanese oak barrels for a further period of maturation. The mizunara oak rarely used outside Japan due to the cost and scarcity of these precious barrels.
