The Ballantine's Finest is the oldest recipe in the current range. The blend is composed of over 40 carefully selected malt and cereal whiskies from 4 emblematic Scottish regions, making it a whisky with sweet vanilla hues.
Ballantine's Master Blenders are responsible for the quality of the products. There have only been five in the company's history, and they have had to carry on the tradition that George Ballantine started in 1827. The exact blend of the different whiskies is, in fact, a secret handed down only by a Master Blender to his successor.
The bottle also has a fascinating history. The rectangular shape, similar to that of a brick, made it easy to hide the whisky in briefcases during the Prohibition era. In addition, it is decorated with the heraldic coat of arms of the Ballantine family.

PRODUCER: George Ballantine and Son
Ballantine's was founded in 1827, but it was not until 1910 that it became one of the best-selling Blended Scotch Whisky brands in the world. Ballantine's 4.5L is recognized not only for the quality of its products, but also for the design of its bottles, invented during Prohibition to allow businessmen to hide whisky in their briefcases. To maintain consistent quality, the brand, now owned by the Pernod-Ricard group, has surrounded itself with only the best Master Blenders.
PRODUCTION DETAILS: There are more than 40 different malt and grain whiskies in the composition of this renowned Blended. All are, of course, carefully selected. It ages for at least 3 years.
Ballantine's is one of the most popular brands of Blended Scotch Whiskies, the second best selling in the world. The blend at the base of the brand's products is composed of 50 Single Malts - of which the "soul" are those coming from the Miltonduff and Glenburgie distilleries - and 4 Grain Whiskies, which together create a quality and extremely versatile drink.More about the Producer
