Its name comes from Scottish Gaelic, and is composed of a word that means "dark and mysterious place"; that is precisely what the distillery achieves with this exquisite bottling. Whiskey expert Jim Murray highlighted Ardbeg as a complex liquor, with a level of quality that few companies could achieve, and it has also been chosen as the best whiskey in the world for several consecutive years. In this liquor, smokey and deep flavours are mixed with the essence of barrels which were previously used to store Jerez: that's why it is considered close to perfection and has positioned itself as one of the favourites among connoisseurs of the subject.
