Steenberg Sauvignon Blanc

Passion fruit, ruby grapefruit, gun flint and freshly cut grass

The oldest registered farm in the Cape, Steenberg Vineyards produces a range of much loved wines through a process of environmentally considerate and dedicated winemaking.

Grapes:    100% Sauvignon Blanc

Region:     South Africa / Marlborough / Steenberg

Maker:      JD Pretorius

Notes:      Passion fruit, ruby grapefruit, gun flint and freshly cut grass on the nose followed by fresh citrus notes. The palate shows beautiful richness, strong mineral core with an herbaceous undertone and a bright acidity running through the wine. All the elements of this wine will enable it to bottle age well over the next 5 years.

Serve:      At 8-10c with fish dishes, white meat or chicken

ABV:        13.5%
