The winery is located in the town of Spitz on the left bank of the Danube in the heart of the Wachau region. For five generations, the family produces Hirtzberger Riesling and Grüner Veltliner wines of high quality from our own vineyards located in some of the most appreciated. The wines of the Wachau region, among the most important Austrian wine-growing areas, are classified into: Steinfeder, natural wines which have not undergone sugaring practices with an alcohol content of not more than 10, 7 °; Federspiel, natural wines which have not undergone sugaring practices with an alcohol content not exceeding 12 °; Smaragd, natural wines which have not undergone sugaring practices and having alcohol content of not less than 11, 3 °.

Wine and friends always pairs very well.
Attractive and intense colour. It has aromas of white flowers. The taste was a bit salty, I was greatly surprised.
Good to take with fish.
