VINEYARD: DFJ Vinhos. In the wine region of Alenquer Quinta de Porto Franco is among the slopes of the Sierra de Montejunto. Township Alenquer extends in a series of hills and valleys, with densely cultivated. Winery vineyards extend over an area of over 6,000 hectares with a production of around 200.000hl. The nature of the soil, climate and topography and rich clay soils contributes significantly to the conservation of grape ripening.
GRAPES: Arinto, Chardonnay, Fernão Pires, Verdelho
AGEING: Aging in bottle a month after bottling.
PREPARATION: unmold with pellikularer prefermentación. The wort is cooled to 15 °C and vacuum filtered. The subsequent fermentation is carried out with the active dry yeast at a controlled temperature between 16-18 °C.
