Quinta Apolonia 2015

TASTING NOTES:
- View: Straw yellow color bright and clean
- Nose: aromas of stone fruit like peaches, fresh grass and some floral touches
- Mouth: has a lively entrance, is a very fresh wine with good acidity and long distance

Belondrade Quinta Apolonia is the second target of Belondrade
This is an assembly of two different wines although the same variety: Verdejo
The first is made with grapes from younger vineyards of the winery and is slowly fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature
The second (almost a third of the blend), wine aged for 3 months on its lees
This shows clearly Verdejo own vegetable aromas of varietal with which it is made, as well as stone fruit (peach, apricot) and a pleasantly refreshing citrus background
Wide, enveloping, satiny, creamy and unctuous, with a beautiful acidity that gives an accurate freshness and persistence of flavors
In short, we face a very personal vision of Verdejo Rueda (although for reasons of marketing is not relying on the D
OR
) Of one of the most prestigious wineries in the area definitely worth discovering

I bought it at Uvinum, of course.
It has a dense colour. Curious aromas of citrus. Balanced in the mouth.

It was very fancy with Chinese food. My best friend had tried it and she recommended it to me.
For the color that a VT Castilla y León usually has, I thought it had an intense yellow tone. Aromas of freshly picked lemon from the tree. Remains bitter in the mouth.

Perfumed with aromas of grapefruit and peach. It is direct, fresh and intense. A very friendly and easy drinking white with tension and very characteristic freshness and a bitter end that makes it longer. A good wine to start with Verdejo quality. 89 points
