Through the forests of Europe roams a massive, broad-headed figure with short horns and a small beard. It bravely endures the cold, is battered by the wind and the rain, yet it remains unmoved, unshakeable, calm, chewing the grass that caresses its hooves. It's the European bison, a sturdy but noble animal, roaming freely in the Białowieża forest between Poland and Belarus. This is the atmosphere that inspires Zubrowka vodka, in Polish "Bison grass vodka ".
Zubrowka, also known as Bison Grass Vodka, is a herb-flavoured spirit distilled from rye. Its production is very elaborate, taking up to 60 days. It has a pale straw colour with greenish tones. On the nose it has aromas of grass, vanilla, hay and flowers; on the palate, its freshness and uniqueness are expressed, with citrus and herbaceous notes, hints of chocolate and vanilla.
Enjoy Zubrowka vodka in the best Polish style: chilled with apple juice, or mixed in the cocktail of your choice. Toast with friends enjoy.
