You will like to know that…
Piotr Smirnov founded the PA Smirnoff distillery in Moscow in 1860. Upon his death, the management of the company passed to his son Vladimir. In 1917, because of the October Revolution, the family had to flee and the distillery was confiscated. Vladimir, however, did not give up and rebuilt his factory in Istanbul. In 1924 he tried to get closer to his homeland, starting to sell his vodka with French labels in Ukraine. The product was so successful that the vodka Smirnoff around the year 1930, began to be exported throughout Europe.
Today the Smirnoff is known throughout the world, thanks to the popularity of vodka cocktails and its appearance in the James Bond saga film "007 License of Killing". Distilled three times and filtered 10 times in columns containing activated carbon, Smirnoff offers the best you could get from a vodka.
Straight, on the rocks or in a delicious cocktail - there are no limits to your creativity.
