Grey Goose, the French vodka, has been offering its premium vodkas since it was founded in the 1990s. This remarkable brand produces an outstanding line of vodkas using nothing more than natural spring water and Picardie winter wheat as the base. This original recipe is used as the powerful foundation upon which the company's premium flavoured vodka line is carefully built, using specially selected flavours. One star in this lineup is Grey Goose La Poire, a pear-flavoured vodka first released in 2007.
In order to produce Grey Goose La Poire, pears from the Anjou region in western France are picked at the peak of ripeness. They are then taken for processing to extract their essence. This essential oil is added to the Grey Goose vodka to result in a spirit that comes alive with the flavour, aroma, and joy of biting into a freshly-picked pear.
A crystal-clear vodka with the iconic Grey Goose label through which you can see a beautiful watercolour of pears and white lilies, this refreshing vodka is perfect option to mix into a number of delicious cocktails and martinis. Celebrate the authentic flavour of pears, an essential ingredient in French patisserie, with a bottle of this distinctive vodka.

PRODUCER: Grey Goose is a brand of vodka owned by Bacardi. It is the first vodka in the world to have been produced using methods similar to those for cognac, and was proclaimed to be the tastiest vodka on the planet by the Beverage Testing Institute in 1998. The Cellar Master, or Maître de Chai, is former cognac Master François Thibault, who developed the recipe for Grey Goose vodka at the request of company founder Sidney Frank in the 1990s. It is Thibault's connection to a pastry chef in Paris and his delectable pear tart that inspired Grey Goose La Poire.

PRODUCTION DETAILS: Crafted with 100% French ingredients, Grey Goose La Poire combines limestone-filtered spring water from the Cognac region; soft winter wheat from Picardy of a quality fit for bread-making; and orchard-ripe baking-quality Anjou pears.
