Williams Chase Distillery

Williams Chase Distillery

William Chase was a little potato farmer, selling his vegetables to local supermarkets. It was a secure work, but with no feedback from the end customer. Boredom and frustration gave Chase the idea to sell a product made out of potatoes. So in 2002 he spent his time travelling to find the best equipment and recipe for potato chips. The year of 2004 led him to the United States, where he stumbled upon a small distillery, making vodka out of potatos and Chase was fascinated and inspired to do so, too.

- Chase English Potato Vodka has been awarded 1st place (double gold medal), in the 2010 San Francisco World Spirits competition from an entry field of 115!
- Formerly 'TYRRELLS - Artisan Potato Vodka', the Vodka Masters 2008 Gold Medal Winner has had a makeover.
- Why Chase? 'When you are proud of making something put you name on it."
- William Chase founder of Chase Distillery
- A wholesome buttery scent on the nose, with a full bodied and creamy texture.
- Chase Vodka is complex on the palate, with notes of mashed potato and butter, leading onto a slightly smoked almond finish, with a hint of black pepper.
- The same potatoes that make their award-winning Tyrrells crisps go into making this vodka. They have the perfect soil and the best equipment for growing spuds, and they can go from field to fermentation in under a mile.
- Chase Distillery is the first and only company to produce an English Potato Vodka, and tastes much smoother than grain and rye based spirits. Chase retains a thick, buttery taste from the potatoes, and once they have stripped the alcohol from the mash mixture they can feed it to our cows, so every bit of the potato is put to good use.
