On the market since 1979, Absolut Vodka 50cl soon became one of the most sought-after Vodka* in the world. However, the recipe is older and is based on that of Absolut Rent Brännvin from 1879. The main ingredients all come from natural resources and include pure Swedish spring water and winter wheat. Instead of the usual four or five distillation processes, the manufacturer has used countless distillation processes.
100 years later in Ahus, Sweden, this process was reintroduced and Absolut, as it is known today, was born. The bottle design is inspired by an old medicine bottle found in an antique shop and gives the drink a minimalist and classic look.
Elaboration of Absolut Vodka 50cl
Absolut Vodka 50cl
- Colour: Absolut Vodka 50cl has a transparent colour
- Smell: The aroma is slightly sandy, fresh and pleasant at first contact, then when airing it offers a slightly oily essence.
- Taste: rich, full-bodied and complex, but soft and ripe with the distinctive character of wheat grain, followed by a touch of dried fruits.
PRODUCTION: Instead of distilling the vodka three or four times, as usual, it was distilled an infinite number of times. One hundred years later, it was re-launched as Absolut. And just like then, Absolut is still produced in Åhus, the hometown of L. O. Smith.
