The Absolut brand Vodka has supported the LGBT community since the early 1980s. A colourful, diverse world where people are respectful of each other should be a common goal. For this reason, Absolut has created a special edition of its famous Absolut Original - a bottle decorated with the colours of the rainbow - in order to give further support to the movement.
The rainbow flag that decorates the bottle, and which in 2018 turned 40 years old, represents the diversity of voices celebrating difference and spreading their message of pride to the cry of "Take Pride in Diversity!".
This limited edition is also a tribute to the artist and activist Gilbert Baker, who died in 2017, who in 1978 invented one of the most recognizable symbols of the twentieth century: the Rainbow Flag.
Elaboration of Absolut Colors

PRODUCER: The Absolut Company
PRODUCTION: Made exclusively from natural ingredients, no added sugar. The two main ingredients are the purest water, free of any impurities from a deep well in Ahus, and Swedish winter wheat, which grows under snow during the winter and for which the use of fertilizers is minimized. The distillation is continuous distillation, the same one invented by Lars Olsson Smith in 1879.
The Absolut Company was founded in Åhus, a small town with less than 10,000 inhabitants in southern Sweden. It is one of the most famous and best-selling vodka brands in the world and is now part of the portfolio of the French group Pernod Ricard. It is also the third largest alcoholic beverage brand in the world.More about the Producer
