Allegrini Valpolicella Classico 375ml 2018 (Corvina, Molinara and Rondinella)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: Intense red ruby ​​and welcoming.
  • Nose: known characteristics of cherry and pepper, followed by subtle notes of medicinal herbs.
  • Mouth: dry and balanced. Good contrast between acidity and sweetness of the fruit, light and sandy profile.

APPELLATION: Valpolicella Classico.

VINEYARD: Altitude: 180-250 meters above the level of the sea. Exposure: Southeast. Caclcáreo clayey soil.

GRAPES: 65% Corvina, 30% Rondinella and 5% Molinara

AGEING: stay about 3 months in steel, aging 2 months in bottle.

PREPARATION: handpicking made in the first half of September. Soft pressing grapes destemmed. Fermentation in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. Malolactic fermentation in December.

WINE PAIRING: simple creations of Mediterranean cuisine, especially pasta dishes and seasonal soups, mouthwatering dishes including hot butter and bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil, ham and salami.

RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 14-16 ° C
