The name Marchesi Antinori Cervaro Della Sala White 2017 pays homage to a noble family that was the owner of the imposing Castello della Sala, a building which was constructed in the 14th century between Umbria and Tuscany and which tells the story of the region at the time.
Marchesi Antinori Cervaro Della Sala White 2017 is a mixture of Chardonnay grapes and a small amount of Grechetto. This combination, created at the Antinori Wineries, is a demonstration of the evolution of the wine tradition and the elegance of the best Italian wines.
The first vintage of the Cervaro was produced in 1985, and since then it has received outstanding ratings in publications, including high scores from James Sucking (97 points) and Wine Advocate (95 points).

Antinori Castello Della Sala Cervaro Della Sala Umbria 2017 (Chardonnay, Grechetto and Greco Nero)

- Nose: Notes of citrus fruits, exotic fruit, bakery and butter.
- Mouth: Fresh and tasty; long and pleasant finish.
NAME OF ORIGIN: Umbria
VINEYARD: Castello della Sala Antinori
GRAPES: 90% Cardonnay, 10% Grechetto.
PREPARATION: Grapes harvested at night and chilled; Chardonnay macerates cold for 4-6 hours and ferments for 18 days in French oak barrels, where it remains on its own lees for 6 months; the Grechetto ferments and ages in stainless steel.
AGING: After assembly, the wine rests for 10 months in the cellars of the Castello della Sala.
PAIRING: Fish appetizers, fish sauces, pasta dishes with vegetable and mushroom sauces, stewed fish, grilled white meats, game.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 10º-12ºC
ALCOHOL: 13%
