Antinori Tignanello Toscana Rosso Magnum 2015
The family - Marchesi Antinori
The Antinori family has been active in wine production since 1385, when Giovanni di Piero Antinori joined the Florentine art of Vinattieri.
Since then, the management has been passed down through 26 generations. This is the result, of course, innovative and courageous decisions.
Nevertheless, it has always had respect for tradition and territory.
Today the company is led by Albiera Antinori, with the two sisters Allegra and Alessia, involved in business activities.
The Marchese Piero Antinori is currently the Honorary President of the company.
Tradition, passion and instinct have led the Antinori Marchesi 'claims as one of the leading Italian wine producers.
Every vintage, every terroir, every idea you want to put in place is a new beginning.
The Marchese Piero argues that ancient roots play an important role in our philosophy, but they have never held back our innovative spirit.
At the estates of Tuscany and Umbria, and is part of the family, they were added over time investments in other areas suitable for the production of quality wines in Italy and abroad.
The climate of 2015 was extremely regular and respected in the seasons the typical behavior of the Chianti Classico region.
The cold winter and relatively dry preceded a spring characterized by a humid climate during the months of March and April and dry ones in May and June; during this time the temperatures have been regular, ensuring the perfect vegetative development and optimum stage of flowering and fruit of grapes.
The summer was hot, with a peak in July, with great temperature fluctuations between day and night that ensured the growth of the clusters without any particular stress.
The month of August, too hot, was marked by some rainfall that favored the optimum start ripening.
The gathering took place between the second half of September and early October, months marked by a dry and breezy climate.
Deep ruby color
Aromas with a strong varietal expression, with large red fruit, raspberry and licorice.
On the palate the wine is balanced, fine, with smooth tannins, good acidity, flavor and mineral notes that give it a final long and persistent.

Suitable for a menu as varied as we had.
The first person who mentioned this wine to me, was my brother.
- View: intense ruby red, violet reflections.
- Nose: Powerful and complex wine on the nose, spicy notes, aromas of red fruit, smoke and balsamic sensations; cherries, plums, licorice and rosemary.
- Mouth: mouth full of flavor, elegant, with lots of volume and excellent balance in texture, and oak, perfectly fused in the finish, spicy and fruity aftertaste.
GRAPES: Sangiovese, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon.

Tignanello Antinori Marchese Antinori Magnum 2013
A wine with a high layer and a nice cherry colour. Aromas of leather and tobacco pipe. It tasted like wood.
