Solaia 2016 (Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese)
- View: Intense ruby red.
- Nose: Rich, complex and deep; dark fruit notes (blackberry, blueberry), mint and aromatic herbs; hints of cocoa, cotton candy and white pepper.
- Mouth: Rich and enveloping; soft and elegant tannins; ripe fruit notes; long and persistent finish.
NAME OF ORIGIN: Toscana IGT
GRAPES: 5% Cabernet Franc, 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sangiovese.
PREPARATION: Selection of grapes on the sorting table; destemming and crushing; fermentation and maceration in truncated cone tanks; separation of the skins from the wine; malolactic fermentation in barrique.
AGING: 18 msi in French oak barrels.
PAIRING: Pasta, risotto, red meats, grilled meats, game, mature cheeses, cured meats.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18º-20ºC
