More than two decades ago, Sting, the recording artist, and his wife Trudie Styler bought an estate in Tuscany, Italy. This estate, the Villa Il Palagio, has been home to vines and wines since the 16th century. Located in the Chianti region of Tuscany, this beautiful property has 8000 olive trees, 80 colonies of bees, and 65 acres of vineyards. After restoring the estate completely, the couple now use it as their summer home and to offer a selection of excellent wines, inspired by Sting's music.
Il Palagio Sting "Message in a Bottle" Bianco 2017 is one of two wine odes to this classic song, the other of which is red. The beautiful label makes it appear as if a message really were left in this bottle. Grown using organic farming methods, a blend of three grapes make up the heart of this acclaimed wine: 84% Vermentino, 14% Sauvignon, and 2% Trebbiano. After five months of ageing, this light gold wine is ready to grace your table.
This delicate wine would serve as the perfect aperitif before a meal or as a fine companion during a conversation with a friend. The nose is very floral with a lovely touch of citrus, making it perfect for pairing with fish and vegetables. Taste a bit of Tuscany and see what message this bottle has in store for you with Il Palagio Sting "Message in a Bottle" Bianco 2017.
