Cantine Monfort Trento Rosé (Chardonnay and Pinot Nero)

TASTING NOTES:

  • View: pale pink.
  • Nose: Aromatic notes of ripe red fruits; strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, cherries, currants, blackberry.
  • Mouth: fresh and subtle flavor, with balanced acidity and delicate. It has a fruity aftertaste on the palate.

APPELLATION: Trentino.

VINEYARD: Cantine Monfort.

GRAPES: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir.

AGEING: This wine is allowed to stand for 24 months on its lees.

PREPARATION: The grapes are gently pressed by method of bleeding and their wine is macerated in cold temperatures for 24 hours. Subsequently fermented in stainless steel, with the use of natural yeasts and at controlled low temperatures. Then the wine remains resting on its lees for a period of 24 months. Finally it is stabilized, filtered and bottled.

PAIRING: Fresh salads, appetizers, white meats, seafood, lobster, lamb, pork chops, pastas, risottos, paellas, carpaccio, sauteed vegetables, fresh cheeses, meats, fruit and cream desserts.
