One of the very best wines from Toro. In 2001, first marketed by Pintia, a part of the house Vega Sicilia. Already from the first year this wine scored higher in almost all renowned wijncitici, including Robert Parker. Pintia is limited available because the only wine made of grapes from old vines. 12 months aged in French (70%) and American (30%) oak. Deep red full, complex wine. Ripe black fruit, mineral, "roasted tones", spice and a long, impressive finish. Can at least until 2025 to develop further. The 2013 has got 93 Parker points and 94 points Penin. The bouquet is very Bordeaux-like with black instead of red fruit, nice minerality and hints of cedar and graphite. The palate is medium-bodied with plump, round tannins, firm structure and high precision in the finish. This is what you call a "classic" Pintia but anyway this wine is also only marketed if this summit. Beautiful magnum in wooden box

The small group of Vega Sicilia but one of the greats of Toro. Making the best of native grapes and good breeding, they produced an elegant wine within the austerity that gives the region to maintain the characteristics typical of the area. We find some fine tannins accompanied with aromas of fresh fruit and an attempt to escape the over-ripening and liqueur aromas. The palate is powerful, intense and persistent with a long finish.

Deep scent, like coffee. I liked the acidity of 2014.
It has the same quality as other red.
