Numanthia 2015 (Tinta de Toro)
TASTING NOTE:
- Sight: Dark ruby red color, with violet reflections.
- Nose: Intense aroma, with sweet and fresh notes of ripe red fruits, wild flowers, chocolate, caramel, vanilla and red berries.
- Palate: Fine flavor, complex and of good acidity, with soft tannins on the palate and light notes of red fruits.
DENOMINATION OF ORIGIN: Toro (Castile and Leon, Spain).
VINEYARD: Numanthia Termes.
GRAPE: Ink of Toro.
AGING: It matures for 14 months in French oak barrels, in contact with the lees themselves.
ELABORATION: The grapes are harvested by hand, squashed, traditionally crumpled, cold macerated for 25 days, and fermented in stainless steel tanks, where alcoholic fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature of 28 ° C.
PAIRING THE WINE: Appetizers, canapés, roasted red meats, poultry, stews, pastas, vegetables and blue cheese.
RECOMMENDED SERVICE TEMPERATURE: 16-18 ° C
