“TASTING NOTES:View: Baglio del Cristo di Campobello Terre Siciliane Cdc Bianco 2018 has a pale, greenish yellow complexion.Nose: Floral notes invade the nose, with hints of white melon and green apple.Mouth: The palate is fresh and well-balanced, with intense fruity and citrus flavours. The finish is soft and elegant, with hints of herbs and spices.APPELLATION: Terre SicilianeVINEYARD: Baglio del Cristo di Campobello. With vines located at a mean altitude of 260 meters above sea level consisting mainly of calcareous soils, this wine was inspired in the presentation of the Sicily of Agrigento by combining the most incredible white varieties.GRAPES: 25% Grillo, 25% Chardonnay, 25% Inzolia, and 25% Catarratto.AGEING: This wine is matured in two stages. First, it spends three months on the fine lees, and then, it spends an additional two months in the bottle before being commercialized.PREPARATION: The grapes are harvested and selected for the best quality, before being subjected to destemming and a brief and soft maceration process. The must is then softly pressed and left to settle at cold temperature.
