Tenuta Ulisse Pecorino Terre di Chieti 2018

The Terre di Chieti Pecorino of Ulysses Tenuta born in vineyards located in the province of Chieti, Abruzzo. E 'it produced entirely by Pecorino grapes, selected and manually harvested at the beginning of September. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and inerted thermoregulated at a controlled temperature of 11ºC. Then the wine is aged in stainless steel tanks and in bottles for three months before being marketed. The Terre di Chieti Pecorino is characterized by an intense straw yellow color with greenish highlights. The nose opens with a bouquet of white fruits like peach, citrus and tropical fruit, enhanced by hints of grapefruit and papaya. The palate is pleasantly acid and mineral. Perfect with prawns or seafood in general. I took the Tenuta Ulisse Pecorino with my couple in a romantic plan.
The Tenuta Ulisse Pecorino has a light yellow colour with bright highlights. Perfume of white flowers: jasmine, lilies .... A very long aftertaste.

The Pecorino grape is a legendary story of a variety that was literally brought back from the brink of extinction. The origin of the name is that the grape variety was once a favorite snack of the sheep that were often driven through vineyard lands on their way to lower pastures. In Italian Pecora means sheep. Elegant and rigorous. It is benchmark wine that embodies power and smoothness. A perfect balance of acidity and freshness, an endless strength of minerality. It is one of Abruzzos top white wines.

Attractive and intense colour. Notes of white fruits such as apples.This white is lasting, it has a long aftertaste.
As I had it between meals I could not pair it.
I love to sharing this wine with friends.
