Tenuta Ulisse Merlot Rosè 2018 (Merlot)

  • Nose: intense and elegant red fruits like blueberries and raspberries and fine floral notes of rose aromas.
  • Mouth: good acidity, return of olfactory notes. pleasant and very persistent finish.

APPELLATION: Terre di Chieti.

VINEYARD: sandy soils.

GRAPES: 100% Merlot.

AGEING: in steel tanks with subsequent refinement in the bottle.

METHOD: selection and placement of whole grapes in the exclusive cooling tunnel "Ulisse" and sudden reduction in temperature with consequent skin maceration and extraction of aromatics. Elimination, cold maceration for 12 hours, pressing into an inerted environment. slowly at a controlled temperature of 11 °C and inerted tanks thermoregulated fermentation.

WINE PAIRING: as a starter, with light meat, ham, melon, cod, boiled meat and white meat.
