You will like to know that…
Perseverance is the name which Don Cenobio Sauza gave to the Mexican distillery which he bought in 1873. "La Perseverancia" in Spanish, this name is the perfect match for a tequila brand that has been crafting delicious spirits in the heart of tequila country for the past 140 years. Now the most consumed brand of tequila as well as one of the 100 best-selling alcoholic beverages in the world, the word Sauza is synonymous with tequila.
Casa Sauza is located in the area where the finest blue weber agave in the world grows: Jalisco, Mexico. From the heart of this plant is extracted the nectar that is at the heart of every Sauza tequila. Sauza Gold Tequila is a mixed tequila made of at least 51% agave. The remainder is made out of other sugars, such as cane sugar. The unaged tequila is coloured slightly to give it a golden colour to match its name.
Sauza Tequila Gold is a medium-bodied spirit that is sweet and full of the flavour of fresh agave. This fruity young tequila, enhanced by notes of vanilla and caramel, is the perfect addition to your summer margarita. This twist on the traditional tequila is also a welcome addition to enjoy in shots, to sip, and to add to any other tequila-based cocktail you may have your heart set on.

Sauza Tequila Gold
- Colour: Sauza Tequila Gold has a golden appearance with sparkling glints.

PRODUCER: Sauza Tequila Import Company knows agave: it bottled its first tequila all the way back in 1873, and the name of its La Perseverancia distillery is known by all tequila-lovers. Sauza Tequila Gold was first introduced in 1929. Sauza is now owned by Beam Suntory.
PRODUCTION DETAILS: The finest blue weber agave from Jalisco is used to craft Sauza Tequila Gold , using a special method called gentle extraction: rather than remove agave from its plant by heat, Sauza does not cook the agave until it has been coaxed from the plant. The final blend is 51% agave and 49% sugar-cane spirit distillate. The lovely golden hue is obtained through caramel colouring. Sauza Tequila Gold works beautifully for either shots or cocktail mixes. And when you're not in the mood for a drink, tequila is also an excellent cleaning product, spa treatments element, and cooking ingredient. True fact. Take a shot, then put another in your salmon or steak marinade.
