TASTING NOTES:

  • View: intense ruby, garnet reflexes.
  • Nose: A complex bouquet, hints of cherry, fruits of the forest, spicy scents of violet and snuff and a hint of minerals.
  • Mouth: elegant, soft, velvety and intense, with characteristic hints of plums, black cherries, black pepper and tar. Bodied, with balance and acidity.

APPELLATION: Taurasi.

GRAPES: Aglianico 100%.

PAIRING WINE: grilled or roasted red meats, game, spicy dishes and mature cheeses.

Nativ was founded by Mario Ercolino, renowned winemaker for some of the top estates in Campania and Italy, and his wife Roberta Pirone. The word Nativ literally means 'that which is original'

Notes:      Bold yet elegant red wine with intense ruby colour and garnet reflections. Opens with a complex bouquet with hints of cherry, fruits of the forest, spicy scents of violet and tobacco and a suggestion of minerals. Elegant, smooth, velvety and intense, displaying characteristic hints of plums, black cherries, black pepper and tar. It is full-bodied and austere on the palate yet with balance and acidity.



Serve:      At 15-18c to accompany Roast or grilled red meats, game, spicy dishes and mature cheeses.
