4 /5

Noblest expression of Aglianico, this wine takes its name from the place of origin of the grapes: the Taurasi zone. The color is ruby red with garnet. The nose is intense and complex, with aromas ranging from ripe red fruit and spicy cinnamon, nutmeg and anise. The palate is soft and balanced, supported by a good freshness that makes it a wine for long aging.

The smell of this Feudi San Gregorio Taurasi reminds me somehow a menthol candy. I felt it alive and fresh.
Worthwhile.
