Technical sheet

Category:Syrup (Soft drinks and Mixers,Other drinks)
Producer: Giffard
Volume: 100cl
Country: France
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Giffard Blue Curacao is an alcohol-free syrup inspired by the Curaçao liqueur. Curaçao liqueur is traditionally made from the dried peels Laraha fruit, a type of bitter orange only found on the Caribbean island of Curaçao. This syrup version, Giffard Blue Curacao , maintains the same exotic bittersweet citrus flavour and characteristic blue colour as the liqueur, but can be added to a variety of drinks without adding to the alcohol content. Giffard Blue Curacao was created specifically with professional bartenders in mind. It has a thick, syrupy consistency and a strongly perfumed scent. The taste is sugary sweet with mild citrus flavour. The producers recommend diluting Giffard Blue Curacao with sparkling water to make a light Italian soda, or blended with grapefruit juice, pear juice, and ice to make a fruity mocktail. The balanced taste, beautiful blue colour, and easy dissolvability make it an excellent addition to a variety of tropical cocktails or non-alcoholic beverages. PRODUCER: Giffard was first created in 1885 when the French pharmacist Émile Giffard created a mint liqueur as a potential antidote to the summer heat. Upon the success of Menthe-Pastille liqueur, Giffard converted his pharmacy into a dispensary. The family business is now owned and operated by the fifth generation and continues to create a wide variety of high-quality products. OTHER INFORMATION: All Giffard syrups are pasteurized but contain no preservatives.
