- Nose: Smoky with salty notes. Aromas of plum, cherry, spices and oak.
- Mouth: Robust, spicy and character. Medium bodied with flavors of oak and plum.

GRAPES: 27% Syrah, 29% Mourvèdre, 13% Carignan, 13% Grenache, Petite Sirah 8% and 8% Tannat
AGEING: 16 months in oak barrels and 8 months in old oak.
PREPARATION: The fruit was harvested by hand. The grapes were picked, de-stemmed and lightly crushed, and all fruits are fermented in open concrete fermenters ('kuipe'). The wines were sent to barrel for malolactic fermentation and aging. He matured wine individually in a combination of French and American oak for 16 months before the mixture. After selecting a barrel it matured uring the mixture over 8 months in old oak barrels.
