The South African winery Spier Wine Farm has existed since 1692 and is one of the most historic wine farms in Africa. The wine Spier Wine Farm Signature Sauvignon Blanc is produced in Stellenbosch, where thanks to the climate (Mediterranean climate) and the soils an exceptional white wine is produced.
But how does this wine taste? It has an intense aroma of gooseberries, green and yellow peppers, passion fruits and notes of tropical fruits in the nose.

Spier Wine Farm Signature Sauvignon Blanc (Sauvignon Blanc)
- View: Pale straw, a greenish hue.
- Nose: intense aromas of gooseberry, passion fruit, green and yellow peppers and tropical fruit notes.
- Mouth: medium body good balance between fruit and acidity.
APPELLATION: Western Cape.
VINEYARD: Vineyards located in the coastal region, Overberg and Breedekloof in Western Cape. Variety of soils, from deep alluvial, drained and aerated soils to decomposed granite foothills of mountains. Latticed vines and shrubs from 17 to 22 years.
GRAPES: Sauvignon Blanc.
AGEING: Aged on fine lees for 3 months.
PREPARATION: grapes received in warehouses, de-stemmed and crushed. Short contact with the skins and then pressed. Extraction juices transparent sedimented lees and inoculated with selected strains of yeast. Temperature-controlled fermentation. Selecting only the best tanks for final preparation of the mixture according to the style of wine.
PAIRING: fish, seafood, pasta and sushi.
