Spier Seaward Cabernet Sauvignon 2016 (Cabernet Sauvignon)
TASTING NOTES:
- View: Ruby red color.
- Nose: The nose is full of vanilla and sweet aromas.
- Mouth: full, slightly acid, tannins body means. Liquorice and plum with sweet and short finish.
APPELLATION: Stellenbosch
VINEYARD: Spier Wine Farm.
GRAPES: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon.
AGEING: Madura one month, 20% in new barrels and the remainder in stainless steel.
PREPARATION: The grapes were harvested by hand. Then they cooled in the cellar before being crushed. The fermentation was performed in stainless steel tanks.
WINE PAIRING: Ideal with red meats.
RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 16º - 18º C.
ALCOHOL: 14.5%
