Opaque centre with lighter brick red edges, young and vibrant red Starts out more herbaceous with lavender and thyme in the lead Cabernet franc much more predominant with some whiffs of coffee Then comes the cassis, raspberry and perfumey rose petals Elegant and accessible entry, fullness is a given A seamlessly put together palate Beautiful balance of fruit, wood and acidity

The brick seems very fresh and alive. The nose delighted with red berries and cassis. Classical cigar box aromas linger in the background. Sweet licorice and spicy clove complement the harmony. Great entry on the palate with sweet fruit and white chocolate. Fine, beautiful tannins, great balance and length.

I got this Morgenster Lourens River Valley in a wine stand.
This red wine is cherry with brown edges. It dominates the smell of strawberries. Like its coffee flavours.

At a very elegant evening.
Twinkling cherry colour. Vanilla aromas. Sweet and fruity, well-balanced acidity.
It perfectly rounded up the meal.

A very dark red and rather opaque. To emphasize on this  the smell of coffee. I do not know whether this 2005 was wine or water :).
I had it with cod and potatoes.
An ideal wine to give to a parent.
