TASTING NOTES:

  • Nose: Spicy notes of citrus, lemon, and lime compose the bouquet.
  • Mouth: Concentrated and powerful fruity flavours develop on the mouth, with the balanced taste of lemon and lime. Balanced, elegant, and complex, with a buttery texture, medium body, and mild acidity. Soft and fresh.

APPELLATION: Stellenbosch

VINEYARD: Ken Forrester Vineyards. Located in the most famous wine region in South Africa, Stellenbosch, this wine has become an insignia of the Chenin Blanc variety. Handcrafted, individually-made wines, the products of this house offer a wide range so that there is a wine for every taste and every occasion. Organic and sustainable practices and a strict work ethics are the key to the success of the brand.

GRAPES: 100% Chenin Blanc.

PREPARATION: The grapes are harvested by hand from old vines at ripe conditions, and sorted to find the best ones. Fermentation was conducted in new French oak barrels, and matured on the lees prior to bottling. The final result is an exuberant young wine, complex, seductive, and sophisticated.

PAIRING: This white is perfect as an aperitif, but also pairs well with spicy food, seafood, shellfish, and even some mild cheeses, such as cheddar and gruyere.

RECOMMENDED SERVING TEMPERATURE: 12-14°C
