TASTING NOTES OF Penfolds Grange 2013:
- View: Penfolds Grange 2013 shows a deep, crimson red with a core of dense ruby.
- Nose: with whiffs of nutmeg and ginger, between notes of blueberries and
blackcurrant and a background of tasty well-seasoned oak. The fruit wins presence with
aeration, when the subtle perfume and complexity of chestnuts arise.
- Mouth: plum and blackberry fruits with figs and licorice. complex fruit flavors and spices sit in front of a
finely focused context of firm but rounded tannins.
