Penfolds Grange 2009

The cult wine and absolute top wine from Australia is undoubtedly the Penfolds Grange. The 2009 Grange is a blend of 2% Cabernet Sauvignon and 98% Shiraz. The wine has matured for 19 months in 100% new American oak. The wine is very deep purple in color and this is a very classic Grange - belongs to one of the finest vintages ever produced - full of fresh, vibrant and youthful black fruit, blueberry aromas and hints of anise and a hint of oak. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, this Penfolds Grange very tight and finely constructed metl solid, granular refined tannins and great concentration and great taste. The 2009 Penfolds is the Wine-lawyer Parker was assessed by as much as 97 points.

It has a strong caramel smell. Passes easily across the palate, smooth and very nice.
Someone recommended it to me, and I would also recommend it.

I drank it accompanied with a snack. I opened this wine with my best friend.
Red ruby colour with reddish brown edges. Fine aromas of raisins. Do not know what had to taste like, but it was tasty.
