Discover More About Our Products
In 1846, American settlers fought for independence and raised the original Bear Flag in Sonoma County, California. Inspired by those who fought in California's Bear Flag Revolt, Bear Flag Zinfandel celebrates the kindred spirits who stand their ground, have the good taste to dream big and never waste a drop. Bear Flag Wine embodies the intrepid, rebellious and independent spirit of California, where anything is possible. Winemaker, and Sonoma County native, Aaron Piotter harnesses the wild, untamed Zinfandel vines the region is known for and crafts a bold wine, full of unrelenting flavour.
Structured and full-bodied, Bear Flag Zinfandel has a spicy character complemented by jammy, dark fruit flavours reminiscent of blueberry pie. Notes of toasted oak and vanilla combine to create a plush mouthfeel and lingering finish.
