Rapitala The name is derived from Arabic and means land of god. Arabic texts and architecture are still many to be found in Sicily due to the island in the past Saracen. This is what you call a Sicilian world. The Hugonis is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Nero d'Avola from an excellent vintage in Sicily. This is a dark saturated wine with bold fruit layers and lots of dark mulberry, blackberry, leather, spices, black olives and moist snuff. The wine exhibits maturity, but there is a careful balance here with a fruity acidity. The Hugonis offers soft and juicy texture of Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas that recall the warm summer breeze Sicilian aromas of wild fennel and salt. Were made about 8. 000 bottles. 93/100 Parker

The Rapitala Hugonis offers wonderful tinges. The wine mainly smells like roses. Caramel flavour.

Scents of raspberry. Good taste, light wine.
Somehow weaker than previous vintages, it keeps being a great wine.
